This November, you are challenged to the Stroller Strong Mamas' THANKFUL 30. There are 2 parts to this challenge for the mind and body. MENTAL HEALTH is just as important as PHYSICAL HEALTH! 1) 30 DAYS OF MINDFUL GRATITUDE & REFLECTION. There is a prompt to help us find gratitude each day this month. You can journal this on the app or on paper. Much research has concluded that writing down a daily gratitude list raises your vibration and increases your over-all feelings of well-being. 2) 30 REP CHALLENGE. Each day you are challenged to do at least one set of the daily bodyweight exercises. 3-5 daily moves for 30 reps or 30 seconds each as stated. These are mini total body sets; cardio, lower and upper body, core and strength. NO EQUIPMENT NEEDED= NO EXCUSES! Every 5 days there is a rest day, catch up day or a day to repeat the 5 days of moves for a longer workout. Sounds easy enough, right? I challenge you to do as many sets of these daily moves as you can to get your body moving anytime you find time throughout your day. Finding time at some point in your busy schedule to do a set whenever and wherever you can; like at the bus stop with the kids, on a lunch break, before or after a walk, after school with the kids, when you wake up, before bed, etc. You can also make them into AMRAP (As Many Rounds As Possible) workouts. For example; set the timer for 12 minutes (or whatever your time allows) and repeat the daily challenge moves as many times as you can.
